Meet the Tulip Candle: 14 Hand-Sculpted Flowers, One Room-Filling Scent

Some products take a while to get right. This one did.

The Helenairy Tulip Candle — our 40 oz hand-sculpted soy candle in a brushed rose gold vessel — has been in development since the beginning. The concept was simple: what if a candle felt less like a home accessory and more like something you would put in a vase? What if the candle itself was the flower?

What came out the other side of that question is this.

What it actually is

Fourteen white tulips, each one shaped by hand from a soy-paraffin wax blend, fill a 40 oz brushed rose gold aluminium vessel. Four cotton wicks sit among the blooms. When you light it, the flames catch one by one and the whole thing comes alive — soft, warm light moving through white petals.

It is genuinely one of those objects that people stop and look at.

The scent we chose is Mahogany Teakwood. Not because it is the obvious choice for a floral candle — it is not — but because it creates a contrast that works beautifully in practice. The top notes open with lavender and geranium, then settle into warm mahogany, then a long, quiet base of earthy wood. It fills a room without being loud. It stays.

Why the vessel matters

The brushed rose gold aluminium bowl is not decorative packaging. It is a proper vessel — durable, well-made, and genuinely worth keeping after the candle is gone.

We have used it as a planter. As a fruit bowl. As a centrepiece with dried flowers in it. Once the wax burns down, you clean it out and give it a second life. That was intentional. We do not want you throwing it away.

Made in small batches, for a reason

Every tulip on this candle is shaped by hand. That means no two candles are identical. The placement of the flowers, the way the petals fall — it varies. Slightly. That is the point. You are not buying a production-line replica of something. You are buying the one that was made on that particular day, by a person paying attention to it.

We pour in small batches precisely so we can keep that standard. When the batch is gone, it is gone until the next one.
